Når dit hold er tilmeldt, vil I blive matchet med hold som træner samme dag og har angivet samme niveau. Efterfølgende bliver I præsenteret for hinanden på vores Discord server. Det eneste man skal gøre er at trykke på nedenstående link og registrere via vores Discord - resten tager vi os af.
 
 
**Hvorfor er træningskampe en god idé at bruge tid på?**
 
Træningskampe er det tætteste man kommer på ”the real deal”. Spiller man udelukkende kampe på matchmaking services mod tilfældigt sammensatte hold, vil man sjældent møde hold med strategier, taktikker og veletableret teamplay. Spiller man træningskampe, vil modstanderen være meget lig den man vil møde i turneringer og ligaer. Når man spiller mod andre hold, vil man også opleve at det andet hold træner - og ikke nødvendigvis spiller for at vinde. I træningskampe, er hovedformålet læring - og ikke at vinde - medmindre man har aftalt en venskabskamp mod rivalklubben, naturligvis. Så snart der kommer ELO og ranks ind i billedet, hvilket der gør på matchmaking services, vil spillerne hurtigt glemme alt om at afprøve de nye strategier og taktikker, samt andre ting de er nye/dårlige til - for de vil jo ikke tabe kampen og dermed miste deres rank/elo.
 
 
At spille mod andre danskere og etablerede organisationer øger sandsynligheden for, at I får modstandere, der også går op i god opførsel og sportsmanship. EHUB slår hårdt ned på dårlig opførsel, hvorfor grimt sprog og usportlig opførsel bliver straffet.

When your team is registered, you will be matched with teams on your level that practice on the same day. After registering you will be introduced to each other on our Discord server in a training group. All you have to do is click on the link below and register to the training group via our Discord - we'll take care of the rest.
 
 
**Why are training matches (scrims) a good idea to spend time on as an esport team?**
 
Training matches are the closest you get to "the real deal". If you only play matches on matchmaking services against randomly composed teams, you will rarely meet teams with strategies, tactics and well-established team play. When playing training matches, the opponent will be very similar to the one you will face in tournaments and leagues. When you play against other teams, you will experience that the other team also is practicing - and not necessarily playing to win, but focused on the learning aspect of the match. As soon as ELO and ranks come into pictures, you will quickly realize that the players forget everything about working on the things you agreed on (and probably are bad at and need to work on) - because they don't want to lose the match and their precious rank/ELO. In other words: Practice matches are a safe arena for the development of your team.
 
 
Furthermore, playing against other established organizations increases the likelihood of your team meeting opponents who also value sportsmanship, learning and respectful behavior in general. EHUB does not tolerate poor language and toxic behavior, why returning unsportsmanlike behavior by players is punished with exclusion of the entire team.

**Daniel - Founder & CTO**

Our beloved, heartwarming and super competitive CTO. Daniel is a former basketball professional. With his two meters of gentleness and a Hagrid worthy fuzzy beard, his nickname is “bubbibjørn” or “bubbi”, which he has acquired from the childrens TV-show ‘Bubbibjørnene’ aka ‘Adventures of the Gummi Bears’.
 
 
Daniel is both our technical leader and founder and takes care of our tech team’s daily success. Daniel is mainly an experienced frontend developer, serving mobile friendly web and user experiences. Responsive websites are his domain (omg lul, pun intended!) and he has an ever-expanding technology stack.
 
 
**Christian - Founder & Product Development**

If you take a microscope and look at Cramer’s blood, you will most likely see a bunch of digital esport-cells running in his blood. Over the last five years Cramer has been on a first-mover quest to build, support and evolve over 200 Danish esport organizations. Some even claim that he might have been the very first publicly hired esport consultant in the world to do so.
 
 
Understanding needs, communicating possibilities and building ideas with the esport community is Cramer’s super power, and you often find him as the facilitator of a meeting, meta-talking in order to secure that everyone is on the same page. We believe that this is one of the many reasons that Christian is amazing at assembling people around him and turning them into teams who work and grow together towards a common goal. He is an engager and a motivator that encourages others to venture with him on what becomes meaningful and potentially world-changing adventures – just like EHUB is today.
 
 
**Jim - Co-Founder & Business Development**

Like any other great businessman with an entrepreneurial DNA, Jim makes sure that EHUB always get twice the value for half the cost. 
Being on school-trips as a kid, Jim was the only kid to return home with a heavier bag of pocket money than he had upon arrival – buying, preparing and selling Frozen Pizzas for his hungry and pay-willing classmates. 
 
 
Next to making money, traveling is Jim’s passion, and just like his working attitude, he tends to find himself in situations where there is only one way left to go – forward on a bumpy road… Just like when Jim found himself on a road-trip in Eastern Europe with a car that didn’t have the ability to reverse. Coincidence? We think not. We actually think he preferred the car just like that.
 
 
**Rune - Content ideas & Production**

If you were to describe Rune as a role in a game, he would be the support player. I mean… That kind of support player with a big, blazing, gun that never seems runs out of bullets while giving everlasting cover-fire while his teammates are sprinting across the battlefield.
 
 
If you write “team player” on Google it is super weird that Rune is not featured on at least the front page, because Rune is the manifestation of teamplay and that is also why he is 100% compatible with EHUB.
 
 
When it comes to work, you’ll most often find Rune clipping crisp videoes or producing ideas for the next EHUB content campaign before, after or during putting his kid to sleep. And if consistency is key, then Rune is an effective key. That makes no sense – but if you ask Rune to give a single video-example of something sometime in the future, he’ll provide you with 3 examples the following day, and afterwards excuse to you that he didn’t provide you with the fourth and fifth that he only finished half-way during the night. He will then additionally provide you with 6 examples the day after – just for good measure.
 
 
**Ditte - Digital Marketing & Product Development**

Meet Ditte aka ‘dittecs’ – a personality you won’t believe exists until you actually meet her. And that is not just because she is a woman who happens to be passionate about video-games (Say what?! A unicorn!). Speaking of unicorn, Ditte actually was a former competitive rider, but ended up falling in love with gaming after a bad injury.
 
 
When meeting Ditte you quickly realize that her spirit is filled with laughter, ideas and possibilities that makes everything seem possible and within reach. While being able to swing every gun on the CS servers, Ditte also finds herself swinging golfclubs on well-trimmed grass in the sun. Ditte also swings the pointer as a professional Counter-Strike coach for youngsters.
 
 
Hold your breath, because I am about to describe what Ditte does for EHUB: Product development, workshop facilitation, community-engagement, tournament hosting, creatives, productions, growth hacking, building frameworks, drawing and qualifying UI-ideas, community engagement, wireframes, sales, content production. We could keep going, but you still need to learn about other awesome people in EHUB.
 
 
**Daniel - Product Owner**

If EHUB was a cup that had been dropped 6-7 times on the floor and afterwards was put together piece by piece, then Daniel would be the super-fast drying and reliable glue that somehow manages to hold everything in place. Daniel is known as ‘Contra’ which makes a lot of sense – because the word ‘contra’ means ‘opposite’, and that pretty much sums up his most valuable skill to EHUB. 
 
 
Daniel is our Product Owner and is usually put in the middle of contrasting people with (often) contrasting agendas and ideas (marketing, development, business, etc.). Daniel’s job (and nature, luckily) is to be a diplomatic negotiator and translator between the oppositions, making sure everyone feels heard, understood and engaged. 
 
 
When you get to know Daniel, you realize he is an exceptional listener and critical thinker, which makes him perfectly suited for this role. He has the ability to listen, get new ideas and think in solutions from what he hears and then smoothly serve these in a meeting. 
 
 
Daniel is also a critical thinker and understands what technical development requires in the very end, why he is also is our coders protective filter – making sure they only need to focus on what is important. Creating spaces where players feel belonging and generating new ideas is Daniel’s passion, and that is why he is a part of Team EHUB.
 
 
**Thomas - Technical Development**

Just like Thomas would appreciate it, we’ll keep his introduction short, simple and efficient.
 
 
If “cut the crap and get shit done” was a person, this is the guy. Thomas ain’t got time for fooling around – and if you start wasting his time, his thoughts are probably already on the next task that needs to be done. Thomas is a full-stack junior developer who started as an intern in EHUB with the task of building our CMS platform and generating an easy-to-use system for tournament settlement. 
 
 
He of course did all of this half way through his intern period of just four months. Needless to say, Thomas is that kind of teamplayer who takes initiative and leads his team (both in Counter-Strike and everywhere else), making sure that the progression of the team is as efficient as possible. 
 
 
Thomas is a an esport fashionista, who appreciates development through competition and seeks out and uses everything that is effective, smart and efficient – and we believe that is why Thomas loves to develop the EHUB platform with full speed every single day.

Meet the team behind EHUB

There is currently a sea of (especially young) passionate players investing thousands and thousands of hours into these esport titles; they often do it alone or with small and temporary friend groups/communities. The players engage in the games with none or few role models who they connect to and venture on a quest with friends and random teammates to improve their extremely valuable in-game ratings.

**Bad online mentality**
 
Playing online with people you don’t know and don’t feel commitment to has some serious downsides to it. Esport has become a key example of what happens when you let passionate and competitive people go head-to-head in their favorite games online. The extreme competitiveness, the consequence less anonymity and the tracking of individual performance metrics lead to brutal phrases, why derogatory words have become commonplace.
 
 
**Bye, bye individualism!**
 
Although esport is one of the most promising trends in our modern society, connecting more and more players directly in games across borders, culture and life stages, esport is also known as being one of the most toxic environments on the planet. The individual based in-game ratings and ladders have become the primary way to showcase your skill level, even though these ratings and ladders solemnly tell whether you are on the winning team the most of the time or not. Even if you were to play on a team and attend leagues and tournaments, only a few of these are playable if you don’t play on a very high level. 
 
 
**Focus on teambased performance**
 
In short – the team games have become arenas for individual grinding sessions where the individual performance stats and winning results overshadows teamplay. Consider EHUB as an alternative to the players and communities who are searching for a more committed, development-oriented and mannered approach to esport. Everything we value from the traditional sport culture is being implemented in EHUB. 
 
 
**Creating new trends**
 
EHUB is becoming a place where learning and growth metrics outmatches individual ranking and performance metrics. We want to be a learning-oriented platform for esport communities - a place where _we_ are greater than _I_ and sportsmanship is a matter of course. Our goal is to simplify esport and integrate all training elements into one single platform, making it a lot more fun, simple and rewarding for esport teams to improve together.

We are on a mission to inject everything we treasure from traditional team sport into esport.

**Getting started with EHUB**
 
When landing on the EHUB platform, first step is to sign up. After you have created your own profile, you simply create your team's profile and invite your team members with a link. You can customize your own profile and team page as you like. 
 
 
If you showcase what team you are and what you are all about, then other teams and players will get attracted. On EHUB you can show future opponents that you are a real team and a worthy opponent. So don’t forget to add a logo, banner and description to make other teams know that you are a real team and that you real humans too. 
 
 
Giving additional info makes it much easier for other teams to pick up the courage and challenge your team to a match, because they already know what type of personalities and skills they are about to face. EHUB is all about like-minded, equally skilled and polite opponents!
 
 
**Karma-rating**
 
Playing on EHUB means that you are responsible for your actions. When playing matches, you get to give a karma-rating of the enemy team. It functions like a trustpilot rating, where you get to tell your opponent if you enjoyed playing against them, or not. 
 
 
EHUB's karma-rating is focused on behaviour rather than skill-level, so be sure to behave nicely and show-off your best sportsmanship skills! Typing "GL & HF" in the begining of a game and "GG" in the end is a matter of course.
 
 
**Don't have a server?**
 
Create an instant match with [EHUB Blaze](https://ehub.gg/blaze) - it is easy, free and the best way to customize your own 5v5, 4on4 or 3on3 match. Blaze is much like Popflash, Dathost and other server providers – but it’s 100% free and super customizable! Don't have time for playing with overtime? Switch it off. Want to play all 30 rounds to ensure you get as much out of the match as possible? Switch it on. 
 
 
Start off by creating your matchroom and invite friends and opponents by sharing the matchroom link. Everyone must be signed in with Steam to be placed on the right team when joining the server.
 
 
**Scrim scheduling with 128-tick servers**
 
Playing on EHUB means that you easily can find and challenge opponents. It also means you never have to worry about a server yourself. As soon as you have created or challenges a match in the scrim planning tool, you and your opponent will be guided through the automatic negotiation between the teams. You simply accept the challenge, check-in when the system tells you to, and voilà, you are ready for take-off on a crisp 128-tick server. No need to worry about anything technical - we got you covered.
 
 
**Review stats & download demo**
 
EHUB is all about improvement for the team, and we are working heavily on providing you with better stats and recommendations for improvement. After your matches are done on EHUB, we provide you with the .dem file on the match page accompanied by stats from the game you just played in a nice overview.
 
 
**Easy communication & matchroom chat**
 
When using EHUB you can easily communicate with your opponents and negotiate future matches. Maybe you have found you arch enemy and want to show who is boss? Find them on EHUB - and challenge them to a duel for glory and bragging rights.
